The Wichita, KS, native played professionally from 1998-2001 when she achieved a WTA singles world ranking of No. 96. A 2002 graduate of the University of Florida, Buth was a seven-time All-America selection and a key member of the Gators' 1996 and `98 NCAA championship teams. Her doubles team won NCAA titles in 1996 and `97. Buth was named the NCAA Rookie of the Year in 1995 and was nominated for the Honda-Broderick Award in 1996.
